TROGIR - 2800 years of history and life in this "treasury of art" town were always in balance giving the world a magnificent picture of cool and peace, which was recognized by UNESCO. Visit Trogir and feel the lush beauty of stone monuments, the mystique of the streets and vaults, coolness of the sturdy walls and bastions, the harmony of color and form of paintings and carvings.

Placed in the area of mild Mediterranean climate, Trogir with its 2700 sunny hours per year is a real treasure among other tourist destinations in Croatia. Average air temperature throughout the year is above 15°C, reaching more than 30°C in summer. Sea temperature is well above 25°C during summer period.

Everywhere you go in Trogir area, you will meet very friendly and charming people, smooth combination of Southern temperament and warm hospitality, thanks to our long tourist tradition.
All payments and prices are in Croatian Kuna (Kn), although you may ask to pay in EUR in almost every shop and restaurant, except food-markets. Approximate exchange rate is: 1 EUR = 7,5 Kn. There are four bank offices and several ATM (cash machines) located in Town center, accepting all major credit cards.

Cultural offer
This medieval little town, an island, for centuries attracts those who came here accidentally or purposely to come back again. Appearance of the city that is since year 1997. under the protection of UNESCO, is not changed a lot trough the centuries, but still – you can notice those modern influences that have change the city a bit. Trogir is well known as a city of rich history and heritage, one of the greatest European artists Master Radovan worked here, and left us cathedral’s portal – also known as Radovan’s portal, which is an important part of the cathedral of St. Lovre. He’s not the only big artist that worked here – some of them are Nikola Firentinac, Andrija Alessi, Ivan Duknovic – and many others that we haven’t mention. Those guests who didn’t came here just to watch and learn about history and to enjoy the beauty of art are not going to be able not to see all of that – it’s impossible, because Trogir is called “Museum City”.

If you want to be a guest of „House Ivancic“ and Trogir from some other reasons than cultural, and all you want is to have some fun at night, or enjoy at the sun or by the sea, than you'll stay much more than you planted it. Trogir is connected with an island called Ciovo, where you can find many beaches – those secluded or those public one. Down the west side of the citiy is situated small place with a long beach – Seget Donji, where you can also find many beaches, just like in case of island Ciovo.

Nightlife in Trogir offers you many things – and what’s most important: all those things are near “House Ivancic”. If you want to have dinner in a best restaurants, have some fun until the early morning, or even to listen live music at the city squares – “House Ivanicic” is near everything we told you about, but still enough far away from it so you don’t feel the noise.
